OUR STORY
Leo Family
For generations our family has been growing and producing its own top quality olive oil using and maintaining its production traditions.
Only Olioleo makes a difference - our family decided decades ago to separate the olives from our young trees (under 100 years old) from those over 100 years old.
Since we strongly believe that older olive trees produce a more refined olive oil, and we are one of the few olive oil producers in the world that practice such separation

"Many of our olive trees are over 100 years old, making them one of the greatest proud of our family"
Terra Rossa
Red soil, or "Terra Russa" in the local dialect, is one of the first things you'll notice about Salento's rural landscape.
"La Terra Rossa" is one of Salento's splendors with its olive trees growing on a unique land.
Red soil is characterized by its particular composition, which consists mainly of iron and clay minerals, quartz components, etc.
We believe that those minerals contribute to the distinctive flavor of our olive oil.

Olio Leo
We are located in the south of Puglia in Italy.
Salento is a region in the south of Italy that translates to "the Sun, the Sea, and the Wind" or in our dialect, "lu Sule lu Mare lu Ientu.".
In addition to being near our beautiful Mediterranean sea, our olive groves thrive in mineral-rich soil, nourished by the essence of the sea and the unique elements of this land.
